History

Although I was born in Odessa, Texas and lived for a short while in Albuquerque, New Mexico, I am by definition an Arkansas Guy at heart.  I love the outdoors and everything that the natural state has from its beautiful lakes to its scenic vistas.  I grew up in a small town called Dierks, Arkansas in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains.  After leaving to attend college at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, I worked at a variety of locations in central and southwest Arkansas, before making the Magnolia area home.

I have been married to my lovely wife, Lorrie Fugitt Lightfoot, for over 31 years and we have been blessed with two children, John Lightfoot of Russellville, Arkansas and Rebekah Lightfoot Wagner of Pembroke, Kentucky.

My professional career has afforded me the opportunity to see business management from many perspectives, from serving as a small business owner in Magnolia, AR to working as a management and staff training manager.

Over many years I have found that my true passion lies in teaching and developing others.  The most rewarding aspect of the job, for me, is to see others utilize their potential to realize success.
